Rita Burceva is a teacher at the Nordic Gymnasium in Riga and a lecturer and researcher at Rezekne Academy of Technologies for the past 30 years. She has collaborated with the State Education Development Agency on projects related to the implementation of the new curriculum in schools and issues concerning career development support for students. She participated in the development of the professional standard for career consultants in Latvia. She has received awards from the Latvian Career Development Support Association for her contribution to methodological work in 2021 and 2025. She is the author of more than 25 scientific publications and is a PhD candidate in the field of educational sciences.
