Dr. Peri Yuksel
Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at New Jersey City University (NJCU), USA
Title: Adapting to AI Disruption in Higher Ed: Empowering Critical Thinking and Mental Health through Student-Centered Teaching
Dr. Peri Yuksel earned her PhD in developmental psychology from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, NY. She teaches various undergraduate and graduate courses, such as intro to psychology, human development, lifespan, research methodology, cross-cultural psychology, psychopathology, learning, or cognition. Dr. Peri Yuksel is passionate about bilingual language development, migration, parenting stress across cultures, trauma-informed pedagogy, and the design and study of effective teaching and learning environments that drive student success. Her work in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) emphasizes fostering self-efficacy, critical communication skills, psychological literacy, and global citizenship. She has organized and facilitated faculty-led trips to Berlin and Istanbul, enabling diverse students to immerse themselves in authentic and transformative learning experiences through multicultural dialogues and scholarly activities. Deborah Court received her doctorate in education in 1988 from the University of British Columbia. She is associate professor at Bar-Ilan University in Israel, and academic advisor at the Arab Academic College in Haifa. Her research centers on educational cultures, the history and epistemology of research methods, multiculturalism and social justice in education. Her recent books include Qualitative research and intercultural understanding, Routledge, 2018; A brief history of knowledge for social science researchers, Routledge, 2020; Insider-outsider research: New perspectives on method and meaning, Routledge, 2022, with Randa Khair Abbas.
Dr. Ben Wai-ming
Ben Wai-ming Ng is professor of Japanese Studies at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He received his Ph.D. form Princeton. He is the author of The I Ching in Tokugawa Thought and Culture (University of Hawai’i Press, 2000) and Imagining China in Tokugawa Japan. (SUNY, 2019).
Dr. Corina-Mihaela Ghetie
Corina-Mihaela Ghetie is currently an English Senior Lecturer at Georgia State University, Perimeter College (GSU Perimeter) in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. She earned her PhD. in comparative literature from the University of Georgia, Athens. For the last 15 years, Ghetie taught French language classes, English Writing and Composition classed, and various literature courses. She is committed to portraying the central role of literature in the educational process while supporting the study of literature at all levels. She holds undergraduate degrees in English and French and an MA in Intercultural Dialogue in the Francophone World from Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj- Napoca, Romania. Her research interests include philosophies of education, intercultural studies, francophone literature, translation studies, and religion. Her articles have appeared in the South Atlantic Review (SAMLA), the bilingual journal Recherche Littéraire/Literary Research (ICLA), The Southeast African Language and Literature Forum publication (SEALLF), East-West Cultural Passage, Journal of the "C. Peter Magrath" Research Center for Cross- Cultural Studies, Vandenheck& Ruprecht UniPress, Gottingen. She served as guest editor for the South Atlantic Review (SAMLA), Journal of the South Atlantic Modern Language Association, Multiculturalism, Identitarian Politics, and Teaching Alterity, (Special Cluster, December 2019). Her main work is the monograph "Locating Values in Literature: Goodness, Beauty, and Truth", published by Lexington Books in 2020.
Dr. Anwesha Das
Anwesha Das has a doctorate in English literature, with specialization in African studies, from The English and Foreign Languages University, in Hyderabad, India. She teaches at the Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology, an institute of eminence, under MAHE, India. She is internationally published in the fields of African studies, literature, and political theory. Currently, her research focuses on public policy and migration.
Dr. Vivek Singh
Vivek Singh is Assistant Professor of English at Banaras Hindu University, India. He pursued his Ph.D. from the University of English and Foreign Languages, India. To pursue his research, he went to Potsdam University, Berlin, and received DAAD fellowship. He has delivered more than twenty lectures in various reputed institutions and has published more than ten papers in international journals. His edited works include The Crisis in Humanity (2022), and he is the author of The Discourse of Disability: Indian Perspectives and The Lexicon of Disability Studies. He has also developed courses for Swayam Prabha, an initiative by the Ministry of Education, India. As a Fulbright fellow, he served as a language instructor and cultural ambassador at Mississippi Valley State University in Mississippi, USA.
Dr. Funmilola Megbowon
Dr. Funmilola Megbowon holds a BA, MA, and PhD in English Language and Comparative Literature and currently serves as a university lecturer at Walter Sisulu University. Her research interests include African literature, gender studies, and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL). Dr. Megbowon has been recognised for her contributions to academia, including excellence in teaching and learning. She actively engages in research and leads various academic initiatives at her institution.
Ms. Sudeshna Mukherjee
Sudeshna Mukherjee is a research scholar in the Department of English, Banaras Hindu University, India. Her research focuses on the study of select rituals of Bengal and how they proffer subjecthood; forming the basis for the community’s world view, thinking, morality, and culture. She has presented papers in many national and international seminars and conferences. She has been awarded with the gold medal for her excellent academic performance in her Graduation program. She is trained in Hindustani Classical music and takes deep interest in folk music and dance forms.

Prof. Rinat Kitai-Sangero
Hold the position of Head of the School of Interdisciplinary Studies and also serve as a faculty member in the Law School at Zefat Academic College in Israel.
Her primary area of expertise centers around Criminal Law, and she has a substantial body of work to her name, comprising numerous articles in both English and Hebrew. These articles cover a wide spectrum of topics, including but not limited to the presumption of innocence, detention, and the right against self-incrimination. What sets her work apart is the frequent incorporation of literary analysis, allowing for a unique perspective on these legal matters.
She is the founder and director of “Science, Technology and Society” M.S. Degree Program. Her areas of interests are philosophy of language with a special emphasis on the later Wittgenstein, philosophy of technology and aesthetics. Currently, she is working on the relation between AI and human consciousness.

Aleksandre Boshishvili holds PhD in History. He is Assistant Professor at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and Senior Researcher at Korneli Kekelidze Georgian National Centre of Manuscripts; He has published articles and several books and received grants from Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia; Participates in local and international forums. His major research interests are: History of Medieval and Modern Georgia, history of the feudal families, ethnic and demographic processes.

Leri Tavadze holds PhD in History. He is Assistant Professor at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University from 2012 to present. Dr. Tavadze is a Lecturer at San Diego State University (California, USA) Georgia faculty from 2015 onwards. His research interests are: Late Antiquity and Medieval history of Georgia, Georgian-Byzantine political and institutional relations, Eastern Roman zone of integration, medieval political thought, world-systems and various issues of political and social history.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Xhemile Saliu
She holds the position of Assistant Professor in Civil Law at International Balkan University, where she also serves as the Pro Dean. With a primary focus on Family and Inheritance Law, as well as Property Law, her extensive body of work encompasses numerous articles in English, Albanian and Macedonian exploring topics such as family rights, inheritance structures, and property regulations. What distinguishes her scholarship is the integration of literary analysis, providing a unique perspective on the intersection of literature and the complexities within civil law.
Dr. Jiří Jelínek
He studied Comparative Literature at Charles University in Prague, finishing his PhD thesis Constructed Languages in Literature in 2018. He is currently employed as an assistant professor at the University of Hradec Králové (Czechia). He has published articles on lexicology, word formation, modern poetry, and speculative literature. In 2022 he was awarded a CPE English certificate.
Dr. Nor Mazlina
Dr Nor Mazlina is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Cognitive Sciences and Human Development, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, Malaysia from 2008 until now. She graduated from Universiti Putra Malaysia, in 2015 with PhD in Guidance and Counselling (Counselling Supervision). Additionally, she received her Master's in Human Services Counselling in 2008 from Curtin University of Technology, Western Australia, and a Bachelor's Degree in Counselling (Honours) in 2004 from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak. Her research interests include Supervision Counselling, Multicultural Counselling, Instrument Development and Assessment and Measurement. AP Dr. Nor Mazlina dedicates her time and commitment to administrative work at UNIMAS, serving as Deputy Director (Teaching Advancement). She is actively involved in community work, particularly in raising awareness about counselling services and mental health literacy. She is also appointed as a Member of the Counselling Board (Malaysia). She is passionate about implementing the transformative teaching and learning approaches in her teaching and learning.
Dr. Norhasliza Binti Ghapa
Dr. Norhasliza Binti Ghapa is a legal expert, holding a PhD in Law from the University of Leeds. Currently, she serves as a Senior Lecturer at the University Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) in Terengganu, Malaysia, where she also holds the position of Deputy Dean (Research and Development). Dr. Norhasliza's areas of interest encompass Consumer Law, Tourism Law, Umrah, and Family Law. With a dedication to advancing legal scholarship and promoting social justice, she actively contributes to academic research and development in her field.

Mohammad Seyam, Palestinian born in January 1980, lives in Qatar, completed his Master of Conflict Resolutions and Humanitarian Studies from Doha Institute for Graduate Studies and is currently a Ph.D. student at Beirut Arab University - Lebanon. The research interests are in conflict resolution and security studies.

She holds a Ph.D. degree in International Business from the University of Agder, Norway, and Masters in Master of Business Administration (Marketing). She has a qualification in Professional Postgraduate Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) UK. Felicia has a decade of experience and commitment to teaching in higher education. Her research interest is in entrepreneurship, marketing and corporate social responsibility. Courses she teaches include consumer behavior, principles of marketing, social marketing, and small business management.
Dr. Ujjwala Anand Palsuley
A Conservation Architect -has been in the field for over 21 years as a Practitioner, Researcher, and Academician. She has a keen interest in Architectural history and the traditional knowledge systems of Ancient India. She has worked on various World Heritage Sites for UNESCO’s nominations of Red fort, Delhi and Harimandir Sahib (Golden temple, Amritsar) in India to name a few and conducted Workshops, Research & Projects in 16 countries. She also coordinated a workshop for conservation architects from 30 countries in association with Lund University, Sweden and School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, in 2012. She is the founder of Samrachanā -Heritage Conservation & Research Initiative, to focus on attributes of Indian heritage. She is an alumna of the SMMCOA, Nagpur, School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi (Architectural Conservation), and Lunds University, Sweden (Conservation Management of Historic Buildings) and also did her Doctoral studies on Southeast Asian Architectural History, with a special focus on Khmer Architecture, Cambodia, and Dravidian temple architecture of India. Her research papers are published and presented at International Conferences and she has won many awards for her research papers and presentations. Dr. Masami Usui
Masami Usui received her second MA and Ph.D. from Michigan State University. After teaching in Hiroshima University, she is currently Professor of English at Doshisha University, Kyoto, Japan. She is an author of seventeen books on Virginia Woolf, Kazuo Ishiguro, Asian/Pacific American, World Literature, Black British Culture, and the English Lake District.

Serafeim A. Triantafyllou has worked as a Computer Science Teacher in schools of Secondary Education of Greek Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs. Avigail Moor is a clinical psychologist and senior lecturer at Tel Hai Academic College in Israel. She has extensive research and clinical experience in the field of sexual assault, and is one of the few scholars who study the issue of sexual violence in Israel. She is the author of a book in Hebrew entitled "Tears that had no impact: Healing from sexual assault" and has published numerous articles about the phenomenon and its mental consequences, as well as clinical articles detailing the methods of treating survivors.

Dr Brian Lee is the Head of Communication Programme at Singapore University of Social Sciences, Singapore. He teaches and conducts applied research in social media and strategic communication. One of his research papers, “the Internet Commerce Models in Asia,” was awarded the top paper at the Pacific Telecommunications Council’s Essay Prize (USA) in 2001. Brian has also served as an adjunct faculty at Nanyang Technological University and Singapore Management University previously.
Dr Lee holds a doctoral degree in Communication and Information from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and a Master’s degree in Communication Studies from the University of Texas at Austin, USA.
