Dr. Brian Lee

Title:

From new kid on the block to glitterati:  How does Tiktok become an overnight sensation in Asia?  

Dr Brian Lee is the Head of Communication Programme at Singapore University of Social Sciences, Singapore. He teaches and conducts applied research in social media and strategic communication. One of his research papers, “the Internet Commerce Models in Asia,” was awarded the top paper at the Pacific Telecommunications Council’s Essay Prize (USA) in 2001. Brian has also served as an adjunct faculty at Nanyang Technological University and Singapore Management University previously.

Dr Lee holds a doctoral degree in Communication and Information from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and a Master’s degree in Communication Studies from the University of Texas at Austin, USA.

The conference is seeking submissions related to the following conference topics: Social SciencesHumanities, Language and Literature. Other related tracks and topics will also be considered.

Submitted abstracts will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee. If abstract is accepted, author agrees to send full text paper, including results, tables, figures and references. All submissions should report original and previously unpublished research results no matter the type of research paper you are presenting. Full text papers (.docx and .doc) will be accepted by Electronic Submission Form. Manuscripts should meet the format set by the Conference committee and are subject to review.
